Prison programs are often administered without concentrated effort to maximize successful outcomes. This study attempts attempts to contribute to successful outcomes by developing a scheme for the selection of offenders into three prison programs . . . A variety of demographic, social, vocational, and psychometric factors were used . . . Results suggest that these factors do vary for each program and factors can be found which aid in the prediction of success.
