The history of Richmond Hill Law School, Yadkin County, North Carolina, is unique and rich in tradition from its beginning around 1947, until it closed in the year 1877. It offered legal training and services to meet the educational needs of the boys in North Carolina and the South. It was a challenge to meet these needs and as a result of meeting these challenges, this institution was well respected and admired by both state officials and former students. Through this admiration and respect lies proof that it successfully achieved its aims and objectives. The history of Richmond Hill Law School has been written in the hope of preserving the record of its achievements and to create a greater appreciation for and understanding of the services offered by it.
